[Special to Press Association.] . THE CINTEA FIRE. MELBOURNE/ Jan. 14. * .Later accounts show that there was considerable panic on board the Cintra when the fire was first discovered, but the coolness of the captain, and officers soon restored order. The sailors worked splendidly in -suppressing the fire.
• • [Per Press Association.] • ' NAPIEE, Jan. 14. A fire broke out in O'Sullivan's boardinghouse at Hastings early this •morning, Inglis's store, Blake's store, and an vn r occupied restaurant also being destroyed. The inmates of, the boarding-house saved nothing, and XD'Sullivan and his wife and two children escaped with great difficulty. The cause of the fire is unknown. Insurances—O'Sullivan's house, .£240 in the North British, and furniture .£lOO in the Standl&rd j Inglis, £75 in the ~ South British ; Scptfs restaurant, '^£50 in tpe Manchester ;' Blake, in the Alliance.; ■'-■
