■ MELBOURNE TRADES HALL INJURED. A SENSATIONAL STORM. [Special to Press Association.] MELBOURNE, Jan. 13. During a thunderstorm and while a meeting of the Council was proceeding, there was a foatful clap of thunder, and lightning struck the Trades Hall. It ■wrecked the parapet, smashed large holes in the roof, splintered rafters into lnatch* wood and put out the electric light. The force of the shock was bo " great that it burst open two strong iron doors in the passage and wrenched out the rivets. The meeting Bat in silence and darkness till the caretaker came to the rescue. About the same time a woman, was found dead in the street. It is supposed that she succumbed to fright and shock. •
