CRICKET. » On Saturday the Albion Cricket Club defeated the Sydenham Eeserve by an innings and 85 runs. Scores: Albion 141, Sydenham 8 and 48. A match was played at Mr Monck's, Summer, on Saturday, between the Simmer Cricket Club and a team from the United Cricket Club, which resulted in an easy win for the Sumner team by seven wickets and 82 rims. Scores— Sumner 133 for three wickets (Barker 44 not out, Monck, jun., not out 13, Lawrence 35 and A. Atkinson 20); United Cricket Club 51 ; (Norton 12). Roberts and Atkinson bowled well for the winners, while tho bowling honours for the losers were divided.
