THE NEW AGENT-GENERAL.
At a meeting of the Auckland Knights of Labour it was resolved — "That the Knights of Labour in Auckland, while regretting that his removal from the colony necessitates the retirement of the Hon W. P. Reeves from the position of Minister of Labour and Education, which he has filled with advantage to the workers, desires to congratulate him upon his appointment as Agent-General, and .wishes him every success m his future career."
