Tho usual monthly meeting of the committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club, which should have been held yesterday, lapsed for want of a quorum. The Chairman, however, issued trainers' licenses to H. Franks, C. Wynn-Williams and Thomas Clark; apprentices' licenses to W. A. M'Kinnon and William Ratcliffe; and owners' permits to train to William Stephens (Miss Faulkner), Richard Houston (Midwinter),' L. Markey {Remorse, Navigator, Rival ahd Regret), Fl Hedges (Mea Culpa), Joseph Bryant (Perkinet) and F. Blogg (Catherine). The owners' permits issued to C. WynnWilliams and H. Franks were withdrawn. ;
