By the railway accident at Dannhausen thirty-two persons Mere killed and . fifty injured, chiefly fugitives.

ELLINGTON, Jan. 8.
At the inquest on the girl Goldfinch, who was drowned at Island Bay, a verdict of " Accidental death" was returned. The jury added a rider that the college lads, Von Dadelzsen and Kinniburg, should be recommended for the Humane Society's medal for saving Miss Brown, and their efforts to save the deceased.
Mr F. H. Pickering, manager of the Imperial Insurance Company, was knocked down by a cab last evening, and received a slight scalp wound and a shaking.
A TEIPLE ACCIDENT.
WESTPOET, Jan. 8.
By a dray accident at Lyell yesterday, a man named Martin Carroll had his right leg broken in two places, an arm broken, his ribs injured and his skull fractured. A boy named Denis Byan was also hurt by the dray running over him. As the, horse bolted with the dray, it collided with a woman, Mrs Gramatica, on tbe Lyell Bridge, and injured her. The cases of the three sufferers are serious. Carroll was brought to the Westport Hospital.*
The young man W. Home, who was admitted to the hospital suffering from sunstroke, died yesterday from inflammation, the effect of the stroke.
