[prom our own correspondent! TIMAEU, Jan. 6. This afternoon and evening Timaru experienced the hardest nor'-west blow for some years. Weak fences were levelled, and great damage was done to gardens and orchards. Fortunately, the grain is still too green to have suffered much.
