United N<\ :' -. "Midland No. 2.— This contest resulted in an easy win for the former b" -an innings and 151 runs. Scores :— United 247, Midland 36 and 60 (Strange 17, and Winstanley and Hebden 11 each). Lambio and Wood divided the bowling honours for the winners. Midland No 1 v. United No. 2.— The match between these teams was won by the former by 26 runs. Scores :— Midland 82 and 106 (Barge 28, M'Guire 26, Barry 18 and Robertson 11 not out) ; United 112 and 50 (V. Harman 16 not out and Hill 11). Munford secured most wickets for the winners, and Hill and Janiieson trundled best for the losers, who batted four men short in their second venture. Lancaster Park B Team y. College No. 1. — After a close and exciting finish this match was won by the Park by 5 runs. The College first innings closed for 81. The Park made only 30 runs in their second attempt, Grant getting six wickets for 7 runs. The College wanting 64 to win were disposed of for 59. ... The. scores were— Park 114 and 30' (Bates 30 and 1, Tolanlß and 4, Irwin 17 and 5 not but, Johnston 12 and 0, Board 10 and 2). College 81 and..sQ (Ollivier i. 13 and 6/ Ollivier ii. 13 and 3, Harma^ 7 and 12, I. Louisson i. .0 and 19, Louisson ii. 4.' and 12.)
