THE FIFESHIBE ON A BOCK. [Per Press Association.] OAMARU, Dw 8.: The steamer Fifeshire arrived off Oamaru onSaturday night, but owing to the dark*ness and , thick; fog' was not brought in. She bruised about, and about midnight struck on a rock about two miles south of the harbour. She was got off after pumping out the water ballast, and jettisoning fifty tons of -coaL . She is not much damaged, and is making no water, and is anchored in the roadstead.' She is to be sent on to Lyttelton for docking, but it was too rough to communicate with her this evening. OAMABU, Dec. 9.. The steamer Fifeshire is still anchored in the roadstead, but will leave to-night for Lyttelton for docking. It is thought that she has sustained very little damage.. ;
