Habdwabb Athletic Cltjb. — The prizes won at the club's annual sports were presented by Mr JB. C. Ashby (president of the olub) at the Clarendon Hotel last Thursday evening, when there wbb a good attendance of members. The gold medal for the championship of the olub was presented to Mr A. E. Tucker, and the : President's medal for the member scoring the most points at the meeting wbb presented to Mr G. King, both recipients being accorded three hearty cheers. During the evening pongs were sung by Messrs Tucker, Thomson, Sfcyche, Betson, Williams, Bergh and Bond, after which the gathering dispersed with the singing of " Auld Lang Syne." Lyceum.— -Last night" Judaß Iscariot, the Betrayer," wbb the subject of Mr W. W . Collins's lecture in the Lyceum. Mr Stokes acted as chairman, and the lecture was very attentively listened to.
