LUNACY DEPARTMENT.

Several changes are about to take place in the Lunacy Department. ]>r Burne, who is in charge of the Porirua Asylum, resigns for the purpose of entering on private practice, probably in Australia. Dr Haseell.of the Auckland Asylum, owing { to the health of his wife, goes to Wellington, and will have oharge of the Mount View and Porirua Asylums. Dr Fooks, in charge of Mount View, succeeds Dr Hassell at Auckland. Dr Craig, of the Seacliffe Asylum, Dunedin, will probably go to Wellington as assistant medical superintendent at Porirua.
