Lyttelton on Wednesday n-ght, from Greymouth, broke one of her propeller shafts off Kaikourn, at 5 o'clock on Wednesday morning. Fortunately, she ia a twin■crew boat, and was able to make very good progress with, the one propeller. The damaged shaft will be repaired before she leaves Lyttelton.
