LANDS FOR SETTLEMENT.
On Thursday, Messrs M'Kerrow and Marchant paid a visit to Kirwee and in- ! spected the land which is under offer to the Government for village settlement. They interviewed several residents, and obtained information as to the requirements of the district for the purpose.
