■»■ (Tee Press Association.! DUNEDIN, August 14. The Workers' Political Committee tonight resolved to express appreciation of the attitude taken up by Mr J. A. Millar on the tariff question as it affects the working classes. It was decided to urge on the Colonial Treasurer the advisable* ness of admitting cotton shirtings for manufacturing purposes duty free.
