Maila close for the following places as under, nubjeot to the necessary alterations :— [ Thursday, AugUßt 15.'* I For Northern Ports, per Takapuna, at 4.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 4.35 p.m.; guard's van, 5.30 p.m. train. For Cheviot and Kaikoura, per Wakatn. at 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m. ; guard's van, 9.15 p.m. train. Friday, August 16. For Northern Portß and Australasian Colonies, per Waihora, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. Saturday, August 17.' For Australian Colonies, and also for United Kingdom and Europo (specially addressed via Brindisi), India, China, Japan, &c, per express, to connect with Wakatipu at 10.30 a.m. ; late fee letters, 10.40 a.m.; guard's van, 11 a.m. train. Due London October 2.' The next parcel mail for the United Kingdom, Europe, &c, will close about August 22, per Tainui. Dae London, Oct. 2. The K&toomba leaves Sydney for Noumea on 27th inst., and the Victoria for Fiji on 28th inst. R. Kirtoh. Chief Postmaster.
