♦ The receipt of the following subscriptions to the above fund is acknow-
Subscriptions may be left at the City Council office, any of the Borough Council offices, Press office or Lyttelton Times office. Yesterday morning his Worship the Mayor revised the list of men employed by the City Council, and fifteen, who were either single men or not residents of the city, were discharged.
