Marino and Rangefinder each. covered one round on the grass at three-quarter speed; and Silver Spec, Goodwood, Warsaw, Pilgrim, Liberator, Mies Madge, Rotoma, Social Pest, Georgia Sharp, Vogengang,. Solano, Eulnine, Empire, Much Ado, Norton, Lascar and Repo, the two latter ridden by Mr Gollan, were given gentle exercise over two rounds. Sedan joined Blackbird for a spurt over the last quarter of two rounds. Barnardo galloped one round alone over hurdles, and was then joined by Minerva, and the pair completed another circuit, both jumping well. Barnardo went home lame. Strath Braan finished fast over the last four furlongs of two rounds, and Magazine spurted at the end of three rounds covered at an easy pace. The racehorses Ulster, Mareohal Neil, Austral and Despised were landed from the Bteamer Talune from Wellington this morning.
