TIMARU.
The s.B. Rotokino arrived in the roadetead from Lyttelton on Tuesday evening, bat was unable to come in owing to the beskvy aea running. The high sea. continued all yesterday, and at 4 p.m. she was ordered on to Oamarn, to return to Timara probably this afternoon. The sea came from the eoutb, and ■brought a quantity of shingle up to the breakwater. The pile is now so far advanced that it is a matter of speculation among townspeople whether or not the shingle has beguu to go round the breakwater. In spite of the heavy seas the tag-dredge continued at work.
