[Peb Pbess Association.] DUNEDIN, Jult 29. George Munro has been committed for trial on the oharge of forging his father's name. INVEBCABGILL, Jult 29. John William Innes was committed for trial to-day on three charges of Btealing the funds of fche New Zealand Pine Com- < pany, for whom he acted as accountant, at a salary of £4 per week. The acoused stated that the rumour that others were implicated in the embezzlements waß untrue. Bail was fixed io two sureties of .8200 each, and himself in £MO, but was not forthcoming.
