The sale of longwool sheep, which concluded to-day, marka a pitiable incident in the history of colonial sheep-breeding. It is not easy to gauge the cause, but undoubtedly the chief reason is owing to the dry season. Owner 6 "find it difficult to pasture their present flocks without adding to them.
