Arrived— Franz, barque, from Timaru.
Wool remains steady. American buyers, however, are forcing prices higher. The Antwerp sales will be held from July 16 to 19. Seven thousand three hundred bales are catalogued, no Australian being included.
Four thousand three hundred and thirtynine oases of kauri gum were offered. There was a poor demand, only 1693 being sold. Three-quarters scraped, 80s; half scraped, 48s.
