Oddfellowship.

Owing to the wet woather there was but a small attendance at the half-yearly meeting of the Loyal Bangiora Lodge, M.U., on Monday evening. On the motion of P.P.G.M. Wihon, it was resolved to give notice of motion for the district meeting to alter tbe limitation of sickness clause in Bule 47, to read fiftytwo weeks instead of twenty-six. It was deoided to apply to the district officers for a grant of JBIO from the District Fund for the relief of a brother who had lost his right hand by an acoident. The election of officers resulted as follows :— N.G., Bro 0. Jones, P.G.; V.G., Bro J. W. Shankland; E.S., Bro J. B. Shankland} G.M. and Leoture Master, Bro J. Bowe. It- was decided to present Bro C. W. Bell, the retiring Grand Master, with a framed certificate of merit; also to place his name on the merit-board, and recommend him for the Past Grand's degree. The Permanent Secretary stated that the sick pay disbursed for the past half-year had been £191 11b Bd, as against £216 5a for the corresponding period last year. The number of new members was sixteen, and four had left, the total membership being now two hundred and eighty-five. Arrangements were made for the annual social gathering- next month. The receipts were £130, and expenditure £90 8s Bd.— At the half-yearly meeting of the Pioneer Juvenile Lodge, the officers elected were:— G.M., Bro Cryßell; N.G., Bro A. E. Bell; V.G., Bro A. G.
