HIS CANADIAN VISIT.
[Special to Pjjkss Associaton/) LONDON, June 13. The Hon J. ; G. Ward cables from Ottawa that he had a long and satisfactory conference with the Canadian Ministry concerning a reciprocity treaty between Canada and New Zealand, but for the present be prefers to reserve the details aa to the result of the discussion. He mentioned that ho waa most hospitably treated by the Earl of Aberdeen, Governor-General, and Sir Mackenzie Bowell, Premier.
OTTAWA, June 14.
The Hon J. G-. Ward, .speaking at Winnipeg, promised to recommend the New Zealand Parliament to grai\t a subsidy if the Canadian Pacific Company would run a line of ateamer3 direct to New Zealand. The company has since submitted an advantageous offer to Mr Ward.

WELLINGTON, June 14.
The Government received in'ormation to-day thp.t the Hon J. G. Waid has arrived in Ottawa, and had been accorded a very hearty roceptiou by the Canadian Government. He has arranged a highly satUfactory reciprocal treaty between. Canada and this colony, which will b 9 eubject to approval and ratification by both Parliaments. Details are not vet available. Mr Ward intends leaving Vancouver on Sunday nexfc, and expects to arrive at Auckland on July 6.
