Acknowledgments.

, The matron of the Queen's Jubilee Memorial Home desires 'to acknowledge with thanks — Papers, apples and clothes from Mrs In wood, Fendalton ; papers from Mr Bellhouse, magazines from Mr Brittan, •' Review of Reviews from the Society of Helpers, buna and aoonea from a friend, afternoon tea by the Durham Street Christian Endeavour Society and an evening entertainment by Mr Wiggins.— The manager oE the Avon Refuge desires to acknowledge the following contributions :— His Worship the Mayor of Chrietchurch, four bags of oatmeal; Mr Thomas DawsoD, Hornby, one sack of potatoes; Mr Harris meat three times; Mr Berry, meat three times; Mr Hopkins, meat three timesj Mr Forrester, Lower High Street, meat three times ; Messrs Langdon and Steel, meat ; Mrs Duggan, paperhangings and glass; Mr Trist, twine ; Mr Robinson, food and jam ; Messrs Aulsebrook and Co., biscuits ; temperance friendß, food j a lady, Armagh Street, soup and milk; Messrs M'Clatchie and Co., one ton of coal; C.H.D.F., clothing; a lady, Fendalton, Bocks. During the week the Refuge has sheltered thirtyfour men, six of whom are from the hospital. Four are working in the Refuge, the rest have gone up country looking for work. Contributions of food, clothing and blankets will be thankfully received. The Rev W.
