NAPIER. Mat 22. The Hawke's Bay Education Board has declined the application of the Catholic Bishop asking that the Board's inspector may be allowed to examine the Catholic schools in the district, on the ground that the time at the disposal of the inspector is already fully occupied.

Mr Nathan continues to receive invitations to deliver addresses on his frozen meat scheme. He has accepted one from Wanganui, and others received from Hunterville and Dunedin. He will also speak at Woodville, but is unable to leave Wellington at present for any length of time.
