WEST MELTON SALEYARDS.
The monthly sale held on Monday showed an improvement as compared with last sales, the largest portion of the entry being well-grown marketable sheep, which realised fair prices. Excepting one or two small . and inferior lots, all changed hands. Two-tooth turnipers brought from 63 6d to 7s 6d, do e wee from 53 6dto 6a 6d, breeding ewe's .(croßsiDredgJ~from~3s~ea'-ttr 5s 9d, merino ewes 2s 6d to 3a, do wethers 5a 9d, lamba (fat) from 6s to 8a 6d, do stores from 2s 6d to ss; yoang cattle, 235; pige, from 6a to 20s ; potatoes, 2s per bag.
