Primitive Methodist Church.
The anniversary tea-meeting in connection with the Primitive Methodist Church, Cambridge Terrace, was held last evening, when there was a good attendance. The following ladies presided at the tables:— Mesdameß Ruck, Wright; Edwatdß, Jb'ield, Chapman, Huston, Chaplin, Bunt, Harre, Israelsen, brooker, Millns, Bobioson, M'Lellan, Lodaae, Cambridge, Wood and Daw Eon, Misses Buck, Wright, Field, Israelsen, Wood, Cragg, L. and E. Coombridge. At the public meeting held afterwarua the church whs crowded. The chair was occupied by Mr T. E. Toneycliffe. The Bey J. Dawßoa reviewed the work of the past year. The balance-sheet showed receipts — Trust fund. £221 12* Sd; receipts for ail 1 purpom g, £470. The sum of £ 1 50 had been paid off the dfb& on the churuh during the year.
