[Per Pbkss Association! NELSON, May 18.
At a. special meeting cf the Management Committee of the Nelson district, 1.0.0.P., M.U., it was resolved, in reply to the questions submitted by the Otago districts:—" That this meeting favours a! uniform scale of contributions and berie- ' fits, with a table of surrender value? for the colony for all members joining subsequently. This would leave the present members under the scales now in force, and the meeting is of opinion that by grouping districts, as suggested by Actuary Leslie, the difficulty regarding clearance of present members would be overcome. The meeting suggests Wellington for the assembling of a conference, and will send delegates."
