Tuesday, Mat 14. (Before Mr J. L. WilsoD, J.P., and Mr M. Whatman, J.P.) Civil Case. — Francis Motina v. P. Morine, claim £3 10b. Mr Helmore for plaintiff, Mr Cathro for defendant. The claim waa for money alleged to have been collected on behalf of plaintiff by his son and not paid over. Defendant gave evidence that for several years he had collected his father's rents and conducted hia business affaira. The money now claimed, being rent collected, he had used, together with JBI given hjm by Mb father, in paying 1 an account of £3 Us 3d to Mr Dyson, and one of ;B1 2a 6d to Mr E. R. Good, his father being therefore actually m his debt to the amount of 3a 9<J. Judgment was given for defendant with coats.
