THE LOAN.

The Auafcrnlaai&n first three per cent loan is an unqualified rmccesß ; it marks a new deoarture in Australasian financo ; and Mr Ward has been universally crmplimented for it, as he deserved. CHEISTCHUECH FIBE BRIGADE REFORM.

These sums" ought to be sufficient to secure a thoroughly efficient and welldisciplined brigade.
