EVENING CLASSES IN GERALDINE.

As as outcome of a letter sent by Mr T. C. Farnie, head-master of the Geraldine Pubiio School, to the Board of Education and the local committee, in regard to establishing evening classes iu that township, a meeting was held a few evenings ago, at which forty young persons enrolled themselves for instruction, and several gentlemen formed an Evening Class Association. The Association met on Thursday laat, and it waa .decided that the fh-Bt night for the classes to commence should be on Tuesday next, when the formal opening would be celebrated with addresses by the Bev A. Bruce Todd and Mr W. S. Maslin, M.H.R. Mr Robertson, eeoond master of the Public School, trill; assist Mr Farnie in the work.
