At Wfoton, to-day, Minnie Dean, wife of Charlea Dean, was arrested on a charge nf ha/vinfe on or abooti May S, Bordered an infan^amed Eva Bfornsby. She was brought beSore justice^and remanded to MayM6i to appear at Milton, Otago. The arreßt was made by Detectives M'Grath (QsUoedin) and Bferberb. Accused haß for several yoars made- a business of keeping infants, and was- once before the Court on a clajge of negleoting several children under her care, but was then acquitted. The police are reticent as to the details of tJ»e present c&arge* but it is understood that the infant in regard to which the charge iB brought was- abo«* » month old. •
