DT7NEDIN, April 5.
The Hon A. J. Cadman is still touring the goldflelds. At Crittel Faca he promised, in the event of a united effort being made, to give assistance to teat the depth of the deposit. At Lowburn a deputation of the Miners' Association saw him concerning the appointment of Mining Boards end the curtailment of the discretionary power of wardens. Mr Cadman clearly intimated that the suggestions did not find favour with him. Ho promised to send an engineer to Bannoekbarn to report on the construction of the new tail race. At Cromwell he was shown a fine display of grapes growing in the open air. He inspected the dredges at Clyde, visited Bald Hill Flat and was to bo at Alexandra to-night. He has., so far, been accompanied by Mr W. Fraser, M.H.E. '
