SUDDEN DEATH AT SYDENHAM.

This morning, Mies Janet Campbell, a young lady Bg«d twenty-four yearo, living with her mother at Hazeldean Boad, Sydenham, died suddenly. She was employed in the dressmaking department of the D.LC, and; had just put on h6r hat and jacket to go to work when she fell down and expired. A doctor, who was promptly sent for, gave it as his opinion that death had probably resulted from heart disease.

About Beven o'clock yesterday evening a boy named Leo Jaoobsen, fourteen years old, living in Conference Street, was accidentally shot with an air-gun by another boy with whom he was playing. The bullet struck him just in front of the left ear, and, passing partly round the head, lodged in the bone behind the ear. He was taken to the hospital, where his injury was attended to.
