The Taintii, which left for London yeßterday, returned to port this morning, having burst a steam-pipe at eight o'clock last night, when one hundred miles out. Repairs are now being effected, and the vessel will probably be able to resume her voyage late to-night. OAMARTT, Apbil d. Campbell, who was injured at the races yesterday, is still unconscious, but slightly better. He sustained concussion of the. brain and a broken collarbone. DUNEDIN, Apbil 5, I Mr Williams, a member of the Boyß' High School teaching staff, died rather suddenly to-day.
