» [Special to Press Association.] SYDNEY, March 19. . The ironworkers in the employ of Me3sr3 Hudacn Bros, went out on strike to-day, as a protest against a redaction of wages. NEWCASTLE, March 20. The Glebe miners have decided to rejoin the Minors' Association, but to leave themselves open to negotiate with the mnaagement for terms of settlement. Much distress exists among the miners in the district. • MELBOTJKNE, March 20. The Metropolitan Board of Works Has j adopted a minimum wage in connection with all its contracts.
