Moebis-tube Shooting.— On Friday evening the Christchurch Working Men's Club rifle class fired off another stage, seven shots at 300 yds, of the competition for prizes presented by Messrs Mason, Struthers and Co., Fletcher, Humphreys and Co., E. Recce and Sons, T. Gapeß and W. W. Collins, M.H.8., with the following leading results :— J. Hastie (scr) 34, 0. W. Turpin (scr) 34, E. Dalton (3) 34, D. Markland (3) 34, E. C. Wells (scr) 33, W. Garrard f1) 33, J. Russell (1) 33, W. G. Munford (1) 32, W. A. Caldwell (1) 32, T. Tillman (3) 32, G. Allen (1) 31, A. Allan (3) 31, G. H. Rodmell (3) 31 and H. Spicer (1) 30. On Saturday evening the competition was for a class prize, the highest scorers being — J. Hastie (scr) 35, W. Garrard (1) 35, B. C. Wells (scr) 34, W. G. Munford (1) 34, A. Cowan (scr) 33, G. Allen (scr) 33, 0. W. Turpin (scr) 33, W. A. Caldwell (scr) 32, E. Dalton (2) 32 and C. Marsh (3) 30.— The opening of the season in connection with the Lincoln Morris-tube club took place at the Druidß* Hall, on March 14, when a competition was begun for a trophy presented by Metsrs Recce and Son. The following gentlemen have been elected officers of the olub : — President, Dr Cooke j vice-presidents, Messrs J. Bayne and G. Rennie ; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr W. Bartram ; Captain, Mr T. Yarr; Vice-Captain, Mr F. Townßhend; committee, Messrs W. A. Banks. W. Fuller, H. B. Howell, A. M'Nae, j. M'Kenzie, J. Sohaffer and H. Townshend.
