Monday, Feb. 25. (Before Messis vV. I. Ballinger, W. Langdown and J. P. Jameeon, J.P's.) Drunkenness. — Two first offenders for drunkenness were each fined sa. False Pbktences. — Alfred Hunter, alias Dobb3, alias Henry Nor rip, alias Haynes, was' charged with having, from Nov. 28 to Dec. 5, 1894, obtained board and lodging to the value of 183 from Satah Godso, of Peterborough Street, by false pretences ; with having from Jan. 10 to Jan. 18, 1895, obtained board and lodging to the value of 16s, from James Hi slop, of Aldred Street, by false r>retences ; also with having from Feb. 12* to Feb. 18, 1895, obtained from Mary Ann Graham board and lodging to the value of 17s. Accused pleaded guilty to all three charges, and was sentenced to fourteen d»ya* imprisonment on each charge, the sentences to be cumulative. (Before'Mr R. Beetham, S.M.) Affiliation. —An affiliation C9se against William Galbraith was adjourned till March 4. Mr Byrne appeared for the mother of the child, and Mr Donnelly for the defendant. Maintenance.— T.he case against Joseph Loader, charged with failing to obey an order of the Court for the payment of arrears due for the Bupport of his. wife Louisa Loader, was further adjourned, for a fortnight, as since the laßt adjournment the defendant had been paying off the arrears. Civil Case.— Judgment was given for the plaintiffs by default in the case of Brinkman and Skelton v. R. Donaldeon, claim £2 83 9d.
