Horton of the New YorTc Herald, also M.E.* Horton, Mr Charles Eussell (son of- Sir Thomas Russell),. and Mr H. B. Stafford, younger son of Sir Edw-rd Steffo-d^The-latter, , two gentlemen are about to pay a visit to the Waihi Gold-mining Company's property. Yesterday being the birthday of the Emperor of Germany, the occasion was duly observed in a festive manner on board the German warship Busaard, in the Calliope dock. Boberts and W. H. Martin ;• putting the weight, and throwing the hammer, T. O'Connor and B. Ehodes. The team will leave on Feb. 12.
