Webb, manager of the Springbank Estate, wrote in reply to a letter with reference to the diversion of the Cußt stream, and stating that the race was taken from a branch flowing through the eatate,and did not affeot the boundary of any holding, the eaid branch emptying itself into the Oust stream near the railway bridge at Stoke. It waa resolved to acknowledge the letter, thank the manager of tho Springbauk Eatito for his explanation, and inform him that tho Board would furbher oonaider the matter.
