[PebPrisb Association. I GISBORNE, Nov. 24. Two dwelling-houses in Upper Gladstone Eoad were destroyed by fire this morning. One was owned by Mr Hamblett, and was occupied by William Day ; the other was owned and occupied by Mr Haache. A strong wind was blowing, and it was with difficulty the brigade saved the adjoining houses belonging to S. Cotter. Hamblett'a house was insured for £100 in the Norwich Union, and Day's furniture for MO in the Phoenix. Haache'a house was insured in the Norwich Union for J6200. Hia furniture was&llfl&ved.
