MANDEVILLE AND RANGIORA.

An ordinary meeting of this Board was held on Nov. 16 ; present—Mr G. Wallace (chairman) and all the rnember3. It wasdecided to adopted the Eating Act of 1882 for one year only. It was resolved to support the re-aleclion of Messrs E. Mulcock and E. H. Parish as repreEentatives of the Ashley County on the Hospital and Charitable Aid Boards. The Clerk wrb instructed to inform Mr J. Morriss that he would be requ : red to pay a rental of £1 per acre per annum for the portion of the road running through the Native reserve. The ranger was instructed to lay Bn information against a person for allowing sbock to graze on a public road. Acconnts (i3BO 3s, 8d) were passed for payment.
