The New Appeal Board.

Renner as a candidate to represent the service on the Post and Telegraph Department Appeal Board. Mr Bennei* was formerly assistant officer m charge in Wellington, and ia now in charge of the Wakapuaka station. Lateb. The statement that Mr Renner has been selected by the telegraph officers for the Appeal Board is said to be premature, as the matter has not yet been discussed by their Council. NAPIER, Oct. 38. The Napier branch of the Post and Telegraph Society regard the statement that Mr Benner has been selected for the Appeal Board as premature. A meeting is to be held on Saturday night, when the matter will be fully discussed.
