All the visiting horses engaged at the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's Meeting on Monday have now arrived, Pom Pom, Westmere, Golden Fleece and Nanakia being the last to get here. Oa the training tracks yesterday, tbe 'Hawke's Bay Guineas candidate Nixie beat North Atlantic in a mile and a quarter gallop. St Hilda and Forme went once round at top speed, the former having the better of the gallop. Soot Free had the better of a gallop with Yattenfeldt, while Doris was restricted to slow cantering. Bosefeldt and Marino were despatched for gallops of half a mile each, both going strongly. The latter should play a prominent part in the Hawke's Bay Guineas. This morning Blarney, Goosander and Zanella galloped about a mile and a quarter at a good sound pace. Blarney is very fit. Westmere and Pom Pom covered one round fast, and Doris a similar distance at a fair pace. Golden Fleece accomplished a mile and a quarter gallop at top speed, going very well, and a number of others did useful work.
