DEATHS.

Lo<-_.__ — Sept. 15, at Qneen Street, Sydenham, Mary (Motile), the second daughter of William and Maggie Logan ; aged fifteen years. Mebbitt.— Sept. 13. at Hazeldean Boad, Sydenham, Orlando, youngest son of William Merritt; aged fourteen years. The result of a blow. Deeply regretted. We little thought on Thursday night, As we sat in oor room, That heavenly angels hovered round To take dear Landy home. Short was the call he had from above ; Only a sentence to his mother did say ; His eyes closed in death in the early night, And he peacefully passed away. All my young comrades, take warning hy my sudden call, That you for death prepare ; For it will come, you know not when, No matter how or where.
