MELBOURNE, Sept. 14. The " Age " Libel Action.
The Judge summed up strong'y in favour of Syme. He said there was not a tittle of evidence of personal malice. Publio men lived in an atmosphere of criticism, and should be prepared to take their gruel. The plaintiff, Speight, had only a general claim for damage to his credit and reputation, and even if the jury found on all issues the damages should be moderate.
