[Pee Press Association.! j PALMEBSTON NORTH, Sept. 11. ; A disiairoua fire occurred here this j afternoon at four o'clock, by which the I premisei of Mtssrs Butt, coachbuiiders; i Smith and Hall, etablekeepers ; Wood, blacksmith ; and Browning and Tory, coachbuilderß, were totally destroyed. The : total damage ia estimated at £3500, and is covered by its a ranee to the extent of i £1500 as follows :— £6oo in the Victoria, : £250 in the Sfcundard, £100 in the Alliance, j and £550 in the New Zealand. Three : horses were burned. All tbe vehicles in | the coachbuilding establishment were I saved.
