♦ — [Special to the " Star."] WELLINGTON, August 28. The committee of Temperance members haa adopted ita report on the Licensing Bill, aad it will be presented to a general meeting in tbe course of a few days. Beyond recommendations for facilitating the paaßage of the measure, the Committee expresses no opinion regarding the Bill, but confines itself to submitting a series of questions on different debateable points to be settled by a meeting of Temperance members. It is understood that if any members dissent from the viewa adopted by the majority, they will be asked to defer their expression of opinion until the [ third reading.
