! CHRISTCHUBCH. This Dat. (Before Mr B. Beetham, S.M.) Civil Cases. — Judgments were given jby default with coßts in the following ! cases -.—Jameson, Anderson and Co v. H. Goodger, claim 9a 6d ; same v. G. H. Bryant, claim £6 4s 2d ; Strange and Co v.F. W. Sears, Mr Slater for plaintiffs, claim £4 19s lOd; same v. J. Gardner, claim £3 5s Bd, Mr Slater for plaintiffs ; Delamain and Co. v. A. Bollb, olaim 10s ; Mr Bussell for plaintiffs. The following cases were adjourned : — Skelton, Proatick and Co. v. W. Black, claim £65 18 1 3d.— Jameson, Anderson and Co.- v. O. Bice, claim £4 Is 7d. In the case of Fletcher, Humphreys and Co. v J. B. Nicoll, judgment summons, claim £23 12s 4d, Mr Bruges appeared for the judgm nt creditors. Tfee debtor did not appear. Mr Beetham ordered that the defendant pay balance of debt aud costs £23 3s forthwith. In default ten weeks' imprisonment. The order was held wbb held over for a month upon tho suggestion of Mr Bruges.— D. H. Christie v. D. Crawford (judgment summons), claim £8 6s. No appearance of defendant. Mr Beetham made no order.
