Union (Dunedin) v. Linwood.
The senloj-flf teens of theße olnbs played their annual match on the North Park this afternoon in the presence of a large number of spectators. The weather waa beautiful but muoh too warm for the players. The teams were as follow:— Linwood — Full-back -. A. S. Andrews i three-quarters : S. Orchard, A. Hobbs and J. O'Brien ; halves : J. Glennie and A. Darton; forwards: J. Irvine, Sherratt, M'Beath, E. O'Brien, F. Ward, G. Meissen, M'Millan, Moss and W. M'Namara. Union — Full-back : A. King; three* quarters: S. Minn, Bave Munro and C. Peakej halves: E. Smith and H. Harris; forwards : J. Beck, W. Begg, W. Beadle, (Captain), R. Barr, C. Jenkins, H. Douglass, W. Harris, Dan Munro and J. Alexander. £ In the first spell Beadle scored a try for Union and Minn converted; Barr aleo scored. J. O'Brien scored for Linwood. Score— Union 7, Linwood 2.
